FAURONALP, a subsidiary of Groupe Faure Transport specializing in passenger transport, is hiring a heavy vehicle mechanic for its workshop located in Valencin (38).

Your responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance on coaches: gearboxes, clutch, engine, suspension, etc.
- Inspect, maintain, test, and adjust the various mechanical equipment on vehicles.
- Perform diagnostic operations and determine technical overhaul solutions.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance operations under the supervision of the workshop manager.
- Perform minor mechanical tasks as backup when necessary: oil changes, tires, and lubrication.
- Ensure the depot's vehicles are in proper working order and adhere to safety standards.
Candidate profile
You hold:
- A CAP or BEP vocational qualification in mechanics, ideally in heavy vehicle mechanics;
- a valid Category B driving license.
You have at least 1 year of experience in mechanics and possess sound knowledge of heavy vehicle and light vehicle mechanics.
You are recognized for your:
- rigor and precision;
- autonomy and organizational skills;
- Ability to diagnose faults and deliver technical solutions;
- Team spirit and responsiveness.
A category D driving license is a plus. Training may be funded by the company to help you obtain it.
Compensation and benefits
- Permanent full-time contract, 35 hours per week;
- Salary of €2,500 to €2,670 gross per month, with potential for growth based on skills and obtaining the category D license;
- On-call allowance of €170 per month, depending on skills;
